It’s a cozy Sunday morning here in Brussels and I have had so many trust filled moments of Life these past few weeks that it felt like it was high time to share with you what’s been coming through my inspired heARTSPACE.
There has been such an abundant flow of creativity as you can see from the ‘slow flow stroll’ through my art exhibition space in the video at the top of this post. I’ve shared in notes over the past weeks on manifesting the ‘just right’ art space to exhibit much of my work in the ‘just right’ timing as I only had the month of June available as the movers come and pack us up early July for yet another international move.
Naturally, whenever there’s limitations of time or space or anything really, creativity and manifestation seem to go quantum. Here’s that link to the wee video note on how my June art show came to be at the Octopus Heart Art Space so beautifully. Here’s another video note of the special event and the celebration of colour along with a couple of my paintings that are now with new collectors. It’s so special to hear from each collector what touches them about a painting that came through me and what meaning it brings to their life journey. (Best part of my job for sure!).
One of the paintings that sold opening night was sparked by a poem that came through me called “Feetroots”. Resurrecting the poet in me is another area of trust for me! Returning to writing poetry this past year happened organically thanks to the Substack friendship formed with Corie Feiner and all the creative soulful poets in her Bodylove Poetry Circle. Corie guides us into deeper love and reverence for our bodies and innate ability to create poetry in caring community each month. I’m stepping into some trust now as I share “My Feetroots” 👣 poem with you as it was the first time a poem sparked a painting to come through me (usually I work the other way around allowing a poem to tumble through me after the painting comes through). Corie noticed this poem is a song, and she encouraged me to write another verse which I completed today to share with you and the painting and poetic response from it too.
And now the painting “Trust (my Feetroots)” which came through afterwards and sold to a very special soul who is going through a big life change and needed to trust his next steps…
And in response to this painting, as with all my artwork, a poem channeled through in response to deepen the trust filled steps for us all…
May all these colours, forms, phrases and experiences spark you and I and all we ARE to trust Life has us, every step of the way, even more. It’s with a foundation of deep Knowingness that we can trust that steps into new and unknown spaces, places, and ways of being more of all we are can be expressed easily through us.
